    Is it this oppressive tsunami of marketing and stress that begins before Halloween and makes you feel like sticking your head in a bucket of lye?

    Not in GB. Im in Ireland!

    Good crack here actually. It doesnt go on for 2 days like in the US, it goes on for 2 weeks!

    Whole country shuts down, shops everything. Its great you can go away for a 2 week holiday , come back and things are just getting back to normal.

    I love it cause it's just one mass of partying, meeting old friends who have returned home. Partying partying...oh and did I mention the partying?

    Have to agree though the whole marketing and commercialisation is gone way OTT.

    It's just about to take off here now. Everywhere you look, shops, TV etc there are ads for kids toys etc
