You lucky girl! Pizza? For us? No. We were Catholic, so we got those crappy frozen fish sticks as a treat on Fridays once in a while.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

We were mormon. Pizza? Almost never. If we got lucky, it was same as vashti; frozen fish sticks and tater tots.

I actually liked those! I'd always ask for more and my mom would give me more fish sticks because they were "healthier".

Yipe. We weren't religious, just white trash.

My mom cooked all the yummy out of some meatloaf last Friday night and then had an anxiety attack about the fact that her frozen peas were still frozen when she put them on the table. It was so damn agonizing.

We ate a little bit and then went home and I made coq au vin for my daughter.

Jesus, you weren't kidding about cooking good food! Your daughter must beg for your food!

Good food is important. I have weird food issues (can't imagine why). Sometimes, if I'm feeling shitty, I won't eat for a couple of days and my brain doesn't work right. If I tell my friends I'm not feeling right, they know to ask, "Have you eaten today?"

And now I'm dating a chef. I hardly ever see him, but when I do, he cooks. So happy.

Ha! I'm actually concerned about that- he keeps telling me that if I move in with him, I'll eat three meals a day. I think I'll have to have an affair with a personal trainer on the side...

My husband did the pursuing. He is also fairly traditional with regards to dating.
