ok so i have a crush on a girl in my class, i was wondering if its "okay" to ask her (online) to maybe go to the movies, and get to know her a bit more. And how should i go about telling her that i like her?

other than the plain and direct "i like you" phrase

how should i start it off? should i like compliment her more before doing so?
