Heart breaker - Come inside and be sad

Ok I'm thinking of an ex - typical maybe of the similar minds on this forum - Probably someone posts a topic like this everyday where it starts off - "I am thinking of her again!" etc etc as it's a love forum

My question is - Have you ever been truly heart broken? Why/What happened to make you feel like this? - What did you do after? Eg. Drink yourself to sleep etc etc

I'm curious - Like Britney's fragrance, Curious lol

You'll get over it. It just takes time.

Once. In 1994. In New Orleans. Never quite the same, of course. I still miss him and I hope I never see him again.

What did I do? I left town. I cried myself dry. I sat and stared at nothing. I drank like a Kennedy. I got a new job and made myself very, very busy.

Then, I met someone else and fell in love, which was the most unexpected thing that could ever have happened at that point.
