She's being a flake, and I still think he needs to forget about her and go on. He was my emotional support for the crazy bitch, so it's time that I return the favor. I think he'll be able to do it.

This is still the same girl. I don't think I blew it by not walking her to her door. It's been long and complex so I'll just mention the key stuff.

We didn't talk for months, then outta the blue we were talking and hanging out again then she disappeared again. She had said she was stressed about school so I assumed that might be it but then I tried to contact her mutliple ways (phone, email, online stuff) and got no reply. At that point I was ready to say **** it but I still wanted to get some closure and when I tried I found out some information that pretty much explains the last couple months in full.

Without going into possibly risky details she is at a point in her life where things are really messed up and she's pretty much a mess. I decided not to give up rather just keep my options open. If I meet someone then great, if not I'll hold out and try and be supportive until her life gets back on track and she can begin to think about the idea of a relationship.

By the way the reason I don't talk about it much is because it's an extremely frustrating situation and so I'd imagine it would make for a frustrating thread seeing as I'm not likely to change my mind about continuing doing what I'm doing despite the fact that that would be the healthy thing to do
