On this special occasion of Valentine’s Day,
There is only one thing stuck on my mind to say,
That there hasn’t been one particular day,
When I didn’t think about you in any particular way.

There was a time when I did love you,
There was a time when I hoped you would love me too.
After everything that both of us has been through,
I am saddened at how it passed us both so soon.

But we are friends now, and I know it’s for the best,
There is nothing really more I have to confess.
This is probably what I wanted all along, I guess
I’m glad it turned out this way, nothing more nothing less.

It was good I ended my obsession, enough is enough,
I guess what I gave to you just wasn’t the right stuff.
Today I hope you are blessed by your one true love,
The person that was destined for you from heaven above.

So after all this, I just want to say,
