Mixed feelings or denial

I'm a noob here, so I'll cut my story short. I met this guy (friends of 3 to 4 years). The first time we met, we were at the bar and I was drunk. I told him I liked him. He didn't tell me how he felt but we kissed at the end. Next day I told him, I was drunk and told him I liked him as a friend. He said we were cool and I said that I'd remain in the friendship-zone and he said, "good". Now, our friendship seems to be back to normal but when I say things that don't include him, he sounds offish. He'll then call on me and talks about how he is going to find other women etc. I am getting confused that he contacts me specifically to talk about this? I don't know how to take it. We seem to be jealous for each other. Are we really still friends or should I just forget about this guy?

I'm sayin' he likes you and you got his hopes up and even if he says your in his "friend" zone, he's half only sayin' that to keep you around, and half trying to act rational.

Would you go out with him?

If not, you gotta be straight up and confront him again and tell him you can't be friends if he's going to continue to act that way.
