First Love?

Yesterday, we had an inter-squad meet for track. Our team was split up into two. It was red vs. yellow. I was on the red team. I only planned to do the 800 meters. I waited through several events, and before I was going to do the 800, one of the captains asked for my 400 time. I told him my best 400 time was 0:57. He then told me that I was going to do the 4x400. I was like "what?" I didn't want to do the 400 meters anymore after my sophomore year. I really didn't want to run it, but I had to. The problem was: this 4x400 meter race was right after the 800 meters. Anyways, after I done the 800, I was breathless; I didn't think I could go on. My time was 2:25, very mediocre. Anyways the 4x400 started right away and I awaited my dreaded turn as third leg. The second leg kid bumped into me as he passed the baton off to me, giving me somewhat of a boost. But as I finished the first half of the lap, I started dying. I started to slow down on the turn and as soon as I started hearing the crowd, I decided to try to finish strong. Our team actually ended up winning to my surprise. Our first leg had gotten a huge lead early and it really guaranteed our win. But anyways, I was totally burnt out. After we split, I started walking up toward the stairs leading out of the track. This girl, who was a pole vaulter, praised me on the way, "Good job." Right before I was heading up the stairs, I could feel my calves starting to tighten up. I whispered to myself, "Please don't cramp up, please don't cramp up." I've experience a couple cramps earlier before and they are a complete nightmare. The girl was about half-way up the stairs while I started to take my first steps when suddenly my left calf went numb and shriveled up into a cramp. It was so painful that I yelled loudly and held onto the rail. The girl turned around and came back down. "What happened?" she asked. I was in so much pain, it was hard to speak. "I've got...a...... cramp." She told me to try to relax it. I slowly placed my foot down while breathing deeply from the pain. "Try to massage it," she told me. I slowly reached down but could only barely rub it. She then knelt down in front of me, placed her hands around my left calf, and started to massage it. I don't know why, but I started to moan. I couldn't help it. It really sounded like I was having the longest orgasm ever experienced, but instead of feeling pleasure, it was intense pain reduced slightly. She was massaging it for quite a while as I let out moans and groans you would only hear from a porn star. I could hardly believe the voices I heard were actually coming from me. I swear I sounded like a total slut. The shot-put coach found us and he started to massage it more thoroughly in a shorter amount of time. Since he was strong, it really hurt, and I squelched until he loosened it up. Afterward, I stood holding onto the rail recovering from the torture I just went through. As the girl was moving back up the stairs, I told her, "Thanks...I really........appreciate it." She seemed kind of embarrassed. After getting home from school, I kept thinking about her. I can't help but feel a sort of fondness toward her. Two years ago or maybe it was last year, while I was going to the bathroom from the track, as I was walking past this same girl, she waved at me. I still remember that. Now I'll never forget that moment. I've never really spoken to her before but now she has helped relieve me of this horrible cramp. I can't help but feel something for her. I had never felt this way about someone before. ...is it love.....?

love is something that you decide for yourself what it is. it can't be explained. it's such a fluid concept and that's why relationships don't last long, because the two people need the kind of love that they see.

there is no point in arguing about it.

and the girl i love feels the same way about love as i do.

I agree. But also desagree. There's many types of love, for example... You can love your friend, but not in the same way that you love your wife. For me, love is simply wish the better for the loved one, with no interest. Am I right?
