Classic bands? Where are the Doors or the Rolling Stones? Maybe some Creedence or the Byrds. Those are classic =P

None of those bands. Good bands but not 'classic'. Beatles, Stones, Cream, Jimi Hendrix Experience, Doors, The Who. Without those bands, music wouldn't be where it is today.

Sex Pistols. Influenced damn near ALL those bands.

Out of those listed, I'd have to say Aerosmith and GnR are my favorites. Although I wouldn't consider either 'classic'. Maybe old Aerosmith. But, without Aerosmith, GnR wouldn't have existed. There are few cooler than Joe Perry.

I said Pink Floyd cause there wasnt much to choose from...
everyone knows that Stevie Ray Vaughn had the market cornered on classics! as well as Jimi Hendrix.

I put Kiss, out of them.
Otherwise I like the Rolling Stones and the Kinks.

Hmm... Floyd, Eagles, or Zeppelin. I like the Eagles, but they're not up to par. Zeppelin was (is) damn cool, but Pink Floyd comes up with so much thought. Even. Mention the Lizard King, though, and I'm on the Doors in an instant.

Like most of those bands up there.........reminds me of my grade thirteen year in high school. (I live in Ontario and we had grade 13 then. Had to take it if you wanted to go to University). What a riot that was! Have to say Pink Floyd though. Did a paper on The Wall. What a great, GREAT album, (yeah I had it on vinyl! I'm old, man!! lol) It was fun to get wasted and just listen to it. ALL of their albums actually. Makes ya think! Roger Waters is an amazing writer.
