Japanese people fleeced into buying lamb 'dogs'

Its amazing what some people can get away with these days. You wouldn't believe that over 2000 rich Japanese people could be conned into buying specially shaven lambs that they mis-took for Pedigree poodles would you?

Yeah its real alright. Hard to believe though. Well when I say its real I'm assuming that the media didn't just make it up out of thin air and gather together fake evidence to support it. Sometimes I really don't trust the media because they really can blow up stories all out of proportion and you never know when they're making up stuff.

Is one crazy con to pull of though.

The funniest quote in the paper was - One Japanese lady had this complaint -

"My dog doesn't bark and won't eat dog food!"

Really makes you think though, what sort of cons you could get away with. You would think they'd notice if they're 'poodle' was bleeting and nibbling at the grass... plus the fact that lambs don't look any thing like poodles!! Guess they've just never seen a lamb out there, but still, you think they'd have a better idea of what a poodle looked like before blowing all that money on one!
