    nonexisting memories

this is a song i wrote...

sometimes i see us dancing in rain
i remember your eyes and the freckles on your face
and sometimes i feel the shape of your hand
can you hold me again? can you hold me again?

please, please, i'm down on my knees
and i feel your soul so close to me
my hand is outstreched as i think of the past
and i feel your soul so close to me

i picture the kiss on our wedding day
and all the sacred words the priest would say
i hear the violins become silent as you walk this way
can you show me again? can you show me again?

please, please, i rise to me feet
why are you running away from me?
the field of lotus become devoured by locusts
but i still feel your soul so close to me

    [quiet]
can you take me back to the summer we met?
can you hold me again? can you show me again?
can you show me the future and us growing old?
can you hold me again? can you show me again?
