IMO, if you want fresh flowers, you should go and buy them for yourself. If he asks who gave them to you, tell him you got them for yourself because you love them and they make you happy. Either he'll get you some next time or he won't. It's not a dealbreaker.

Choose to be happy with who he is or go find someone else, but don't expect to change him. It never works. Never.

Very dumb. But why do I need to spend $xxx on a gift? If the $x one will do the same thing as a $xxx one why should I spend the extra money then? And if a girl expects me to get her $xxx gifts I am going to say bye bye real quick.
