My husband is a good flower-giver. Unfortuantely for him, I am not a great flower-reciever. I mean, I *like* them, but I'd rather spend money on more practical things. I generally only want flowers when we are having dinner parties.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

well when mine buys me gifts there usually so unexpected and expensive i feel embaressd taking them, as i know i won't be able to buy stuff that expensive.

i'm not a teddy bear person. why would you buy me teddy bears? i'm 19 and they have no use!!

flowers not really unless he's trying to be romantic with them.

i prefer things i'm actually gona want, use and need even if that means it's a pen.

Yea, but gift is a gift. Like it or not the person meant well and doesn't deserve a bitter come back at him that it is the wrong gift. Some of you people are acting like little kids

"WHAAAA I DIDN'T WANT THIS WAAAAHHH.....IT IS THE WRONG COLOR! WAHH WAHH WAHH"

    enjoy these, they are great!

One more thing to the original thread starter, what was the last gift you got him?

Considering how little you appreciate the time he spends with you, I can't say as I blame him. Your paranoid nature no doubt contributed to driving him away.
