The death penalty for rapists and child molesters is a controversial issue involving sexual acts, much like prostitution. Since I made the effort to voice my support for prostitution, I wanted to also add that I was not liberal across the board, as some of you might have otherwise made such an assumption.

And I do agree that women are generally weaker than men mentally. Some of this is just because they are much more emotional, IMO.

i think we agree on a lot of things, however the death penalty for prostitution is not something i support, but i do think there are circumstances where the death penalty is warranted, heck sometimes i think that quick and painless death is getting off easy, i would prefer torture for some crimes such as unprovoked murder, rape and especially child molestation

Of course it would. Men have a vested interest in maintaining their own power. The only reason the majority of those women were allowed power by men was because it was their birthright. Nonetheless, they did rule, and they weren't controlled by their emotions.

i am not saying that ALL women are controlled by their emotions, but most are and not only that but their emotions effect those around them, eg if a mother is having a bad day, chances are she is going to make the whole family miserable, and that in my opinion is a form of weakness, when you let your emotions not only affect you but others around you as well

i must truly confess, ignorance is bliss when it comes to women. my mom and other women i know are always bitching or yelling about something. -i pretend like i'm listening and everything is good!

I can't speak for women in other countries, but here in the US women have it easier than men. The reason being: they are held to lower expectations by society. That's not to say that a woman cannot have a difficult life. She can still go to school for a post-undergraduate degree, work 60 hrs a week, provide for her family, mow the lawn, fix things around the house, and do all the things guys typically do. However, this is not necessary b/c then she is seen as an overachiever whereas guys who don't do any of the above are seen as underachievers. All that's really expected of women is to work a part-time job to supplement the man's income, raise children, and keep the house clean. I'd say they got the better end of the bargain.
