Email: Drinking water and heart attack

This a very good article. Not only about the warm water after your meal,
but about heart attacks. The Chinese and Japanese drink hot tea with their
meals, not cold water, maybe it is time we adopt their drinking habit while
    eating.

For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you.
It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold
water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will
slow down the digestion. Once this "sludge" reacts with the acid, it will
break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It
will line the intestine . Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.
A serious note about heart attacks - You should know that not every heart
attack symptom is going to be the left arm hurting. Be aware of intense
    pain in the jaw line.
You may never have the first chest pain during the course of a heart
attack. Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms. 60% of people
who have a heart attack while they are asleep do not wake up. Pain in the
jaw can wake you from a sound sleep. Let's be careful and be aware. The
more we know, the better chance we could survive.

A lot of Hispanic cultures are into the hot/cold therapy, too.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

heart attacks are caused by having too much cholesterol in your blood vessels. then clog your vessels but the cold/warm water doesn't really have an affect on it. it's too much fat in your diet and too little exercise.

when you take into consideration the cold water, it's like saying living in an arctic area will cause more health problems when it comes to heart attacks because the air in general is colder. because we breather colder air, we are more prone to heart attacks which doesn't seem very plausible to me.

I can see how cold water after a fatty meal might slow digestion, but I'm hesitant to link slowed digestion to heart attacks.

    This is bullshit.

The oils, whether they were hot or cold, will quickly assume your body's temperature.

So if the oils were hot, they'll eventually cool to your body temperature. And if they were cold, they will eventually warm to your body temperature.

    So in conclusion.

    Bullshit.

Okay... well here's my two cents.

I dunno about the link w/HA (seems unlikely), but effects on your digestive system actually makes some sense to me. I'm not as sure about the cold water, as I agree it will quickly warm up to body temperature, but the drinking of hot beverages will probably keep things more dissolved for longer (fats, salts, etc).

I can imagine a scenario where you get some weird kind of coating on your stomach/intestinal lining w/cold water & liquids high in fat/salt. There's a LOT of surface area in there where undissolved gunk could get deposited onto the small folds of tissue. Even with body warming, they may not be as easily removed; there *are* various deposits in our body (atherosclerotic plaques, for example) that, once formed, *don't* redissolve at 37oC. Kind of like how its harder to clean the gravy boat once things have congealed.

For sure things get stuck in there. Ask anyone about all the weird fatty stuff that sloughs off when they do a week long liquid cleanse. Its gross.

I've heard nothing but bad things about that "liquid/toxic cleanse", stuff.

I think people should just eat more fiber.

ooh, I was unaware the word Fibre was spelt differently in American English.

(Pointless? Yes. But suttle differences between English and American English seems to be a slight interest of mine)

Actually, I feel great after a cleanse. But its bad for the first 3 days, headaches & crap (prob from the caffeine withdrawl).

A lot of hormones & toxic stuff is fat-soluble. So its probably good to get rid of it every now & again.
