    obliques, abdominals, pectorals

what are some good exercises for building these muscles up?

i am sick of my flabbiness.

abs are almost where i want them, but they don't look good without obliques and sexy curves. i wish i had a roman chair, i have a cheap alternative (haha) that is to move the bed next to my dresser.

i do pushups, 1 arm presses, and curling with dumbells, but... don't laugh, my nipples are a little cony and it looks like ihave manboobs with some shirts i wear. i am not sure if it is a lack of pectoral muscle, or a little bit of fat that i need to burn down... or how to get rid of it.

please post some exercises that would help me.

You can do all the building up you want; you STILL aren't going to see the muscles without losing the flab. You need cardio exercises and weight training inaddition to changing your eating habits.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

so is eating things like cooked meat, vegetables, and granola a good diet? that's pretty much all i eat.

cardiovascular.. this is something i am sure to miss in my life. does running in the morning help? i am thinking about getting into that habit.

weight training is all i do. well, i don't have all the equipment, but anything you can do with dumbells is what i do.

I'd start running again if I knew my knee wouldn't start acting up.

do you wear a brace when you run? i have knee problems too.

many people have never seen me run... wel, because i don't. i feel much more comfortable on a treadmill. it would take away my intimidating, laid-back personality!

i realy don't have any running shoes. i will either run in my 10 lb work boots, or my lightweight jungle boots.

    A mountain bike.

Pick up a pair of cheap running shoes.

I can usually find a pair of good shoes in clearance for 20-30 bucks. Last pair lasted me 2 years, and that's with regular use (running).

Trust me, there's a huge difference between running in jungles and shoes.

a reverse crunch is simply a crunch done by reversing the upper and lower body functions. You lie flat on the floor with your legs slightly bent and raise your pelvis in an arc towards your shoulders. Then, slower lower your pelvis back down without letting your butt touch the floor.

    Trust me, shoes are better.

If you must run in boots, at least invest in the pair that are actually made for running. Plus, jungles won't do a good job at supporting your ankle at all, and a raised heel will only increase the chance of you have of twisting or rolling your ankle.
