Jesus, "karma" is right up there with "everything happens for a reason" in the top five mantras fools use to make themselves feel better.

I believe in karma, CB, and I'm no fool.

Its not about making yourself feel better, its about understanding why things happen to ppl & what you can do to make it better. Sayings like 'what goes around, comes around' tend to be very true, at least in the experience of old farts like me. Have you heard of the idea "Law of Attraction"? Its an interesting idea for explaining what happens to ppl & why.

supposedly, there's individual karma, but also global, national, etc, karma. I think it does exist simply in the sense that, chances are, if you do something that seems wrong (ie, grinding up dead cows and feeding them to live cows, or pumping tons of waste into the ocean) it will eventually come back to you (ie mad cow disease, or getting mercury in the fish from the now polluted ocean).
Tho i'm not saying there's some kind of law or benevolent force at work that'll, like, punish rapists and such.

I do have a belief in it based on my past experiences and some friends experiences. I dont delve in voodoo or crazy shit like that although I have a friend who claims she does, scares me, wont go near it!

I know those who've done me wrong have had shitty things come back on them, maybe not in ways Id hope, but theyre lives were effected shitty. Im an oldy 37 and guess those sayings go way back.
