Well I would say my bf of 3 years is like a teddy bear, yet I'd say that about some of my male friends too, which basically means 'you're like a big brother I can hug'.

Some girls could mean the whole brother thing, but she could also like you. It's hard to tell unless you give me more context.

Usually implies that he's a cuddly guy who watches movies with you while you rest your head on his chest and maybe have platonic sleep overs with him, too. Poor bastard. He's all cuddled up with you in bed and all you want is for him to platonically make you feel good about yourself....anyway, that's what "teddy bear" tends to inspire.

I see guys that LOOK like a teddy bear sometimes, the chubby and gruff ones with a lot of body hair but pretty much harmless. If you have a wild side, has this girl seen it?
