    Thanksgiving plans?

Whats everybody doing for Thanksgiving? And what do you have to be thankful for?

Im spending the day with my husband and son! Theres a start.

Im thankful for life, my son being healthy regardless of his choices, thankful he's not in jail or smoking crack.

Thankful for an understanding husband now.

    Thankful for a career change!

And thankful my health is starting repair!
everything happens for a reason...beginning to wonder why.

I'm gonna be goin' to my girlfriend's families' house. I invited my brother's family, but they're not down with it.

Or rather, his wife isn't down.

    I plan on getting stuffed.

Shit, I'm prepped for a dinner most every night now that I started this new job.

    I love Swedes

But seriously... I'm going home for Thanksgiving for 3 days. I plan on eating copious amounts of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, sweet potatoes, pie, and cookies. I will also drink an intermediate amount of wine and watch football.

Apparently everyone's going to show up this year. So that's my entire immediate family (grandmother included), plus my dad's siblings, four cousins, my cousin's daughter and husband, and possibly my other cousin's girlfriend. 'Course, by "everyone," I mean half the family. The other half is in England. No point flying out for something they don't normally deal with. I fully intend to save some ham and bring it back to school with me. My grandmother makes the most wonderful ham. And someone's making Yorkshire pudding, even if it has to be me.

I'm thankful to be safely distanced from home. So what am I doing for thanksgiving? Going back home.

I really don't have much to be thankful for.

    I wish I did...
