I dont take valentines as a serious gift-giving holiday. As in, no expensive gifts. Get a bunch of really silly meaningless little things. Candy, some stupid little singing doll, funny magnets or something. Dont fall into the trap of buying expensive gifts right off the get-go, then they will expect something just as great next time or better
