    Shy person, I need help

This may sound pathetic, but how could I prove to a girl that I love her without actually telling her "I love you" or things like that? I am a pretty shy guy and she tried more than once to make me be more sociable, but I just can't do it, I don't know why, I just can't communicate that much. So sometimes she gets a little pissed off because in spite of all her tryings, I still remain silent.

Could you give me an example of a situation that could prove her that I love her? I don't know ... a situation in which I would have to protect her or defend her. Help me.

And what should I do to become more communicative and what should I tell her to prove her indirectly (without telling it) that I love her?

I know for sure that I love her, because I can't stop thinking of her since the moment I first saw her. Even though sometimes she gets angry because I don't talk too much, she is a good person and more than once she helped me in various occasions.

dude if its really hard for you to communicate with her, your relationship won't progress.

doing stuff to make her think you love her is ok..but don't you think if you build the courage and tell her she'll love you even more for getting over your fear? or whatever it is

How about having a guys night out to socialize with other females?
The more you talk with other females, the easier it'll be to talk to her and knowing what interests that she'll like.
Brainstorm some ideas of things that both of you can do together that would be fun ( Dancing, Cooking, Skiing, Museum, Crafts, Biking, Camping, etc. )
Don't let fear interfere with initiating conversations with her, think of it like your asking or answering questions from a friend, and then show some feelings towards it, just practice and It'll come naturally.

Its not a matter of being shy. If you cannot say "I love you" then you do not feel it inside you.

how is it? I didnt say it to be mean or anything. Just what i think. Im a really quiet shy girl and when my boyfriend first said he loved me I didnt want to say it back unless I knew I truly meant it. If you feel love for a person you should be able to speak it, its three words.

No, I'm not shy in the slightest.

And no, I don't think you're mean, just wrong. People really can be that shy.

    I agree.

BT: think of it this way: lots of ppl SAY they love when their actions say the exact opposite.

The words are nice, but by themselves don't mean much. And some ppl have a really hard time with words, its just their way.

Personally, I'd rather feel loved than hear it & not feel it.

This could go both ways though, they might so love at the moment,
but be disrespecting behind your back, so that they don't feel alone.
Too many people stay together for the wrong reasons.

Of course; there are many flavours. I'm just saying that speaking 'I love you' doesn't mean shit if the actions aren't consistent. Which isn't the case if someone is doing stuff behind your back.

buy her an expensive or meaningful gift. people say that that works and it was the advice i was given. admitedly when i tried that my dearest sweetheart decided to ask someone else out in a matter of hours, thus emotionely crippeling me for years after. but it might work for you.

or you could write it down on a card and hand it to her. its valantines day soon. could be an oppotunety.

Buying gifts and cards only goes so far.
