Actually, back in college, that's where the girls used to find me, if they were interested. They'd find me watching Cheers or Night Court re-runs in the dorm t.v. lounge, while I was doing laundry in the dorm laundry room.

Ha! I'd almost forgotten about those days. Yeah, they'd come down and watch the show with me and strike up a conversation. If it was the night of SNL, then they'd usually try to sit next to me before the t.v. room got over-crowded. The girl would be practically smashed into me, I'd have get the old arm around the shoulder

If it was a really good night, then maybe she'd invite me to her room for something to drink, listen to music, and then maybe make-out for a bit. It wasn't the 19th century, but for the most part, people didn't go "all the way" as often as they do these days.

Anyway, that's how girls used to meet me when I was in college in the 1980's
