How long have you been separated?

Be glad you found out what kind of woman she is now instead of after walking down the aisle. You're lucky. This could have been a whole helluva lot worse.

See. Every cloud has its silver lining.

Oh wow, I know how this feels.

Just think of it as a catastrophe averted. Be thankful. As much as it may piss you off, don't let it, because then she's winning. The best revenge you can have on a person that hurts you, is to be happy, successful, and forgiving. That pisses them off more than anything, trust me.

Get rid of any shit you have that belongs to her. Maybe the move is a good idea - fresh starts can work wonders. I did that when I left my ex husband, and it was such a positive change.

Dude. Break up = she's not yours. Get all reminders of her out of your life and close all doors.

How did you find out about the "boy toy"? However this happened, you need to make sure it doesn't happen again. You're not still in contact with her, are you? If so, cut her off.

Tell everyone you know not to mention her.
Don't look at her MySpace page.

You've got to give yourself a chance here, Tommy.

Honestly, do yourself a favor and throw them out. It's just negative energy. You have enough 'reminders' in your head. You don't need to keep them in a box so you can peek in now and again to fuel your hurt and anger.

I say keep a few and toss the rest. Send the few to your mom's house or something, so you'll have them when you're 70 and want to reminisce (yes, you'll be over this by then, completely), but don't keep them around where you'll be tempted to pull them out and fume about it.

I think you should stay off the social networking sites altogether for a while. It's like putting up weatherstripping to keep out the cold- even a crack makes a difference.

New experiences! New woman... New school... Cheap houses... Ride my bike year round... No snow... Less mormons... Less people...

Also, I won't have a daily reminder of my past and can move on .
