restraining orders often end up causing more danger to the person who gets them, they tend to be provocative and pique more anger in people who are mentally ill and violent.
I would continue to avoid her, don't even engage in any discourse. Don't say f-ing this and f-ing that, just calmly avoid.
She is trying to engage you in her drama, and the more you participate, the more she will respond.
I have experienced the same, and I have found that the best tactic is peaceful avoidance. I don't talk about it to other people, if she's hearing from "friends" about what you are saying about her, thats just more fuel. Shut your mouth and turn in the opposite direction. Every time. Eventually, she'll find some other poor fool to attach herself to.

Honey, you are both still kids. You have parents - let them help you out with this one. You can either go to her parents and tell them the problem, or have your parents intervene. You can tell her parents you are considering a restraining order. Most parents would intervene at that point, because no one wants their kid to have that on their record.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

If you ever see her just leave. No matter where you are at. I promise she will move on after a while. Girls handle situations such as this differently than men. Who knows man. You have no clue what goes on behind close doors when she is at home. She may live a hard life which corresponds to the drug abuse and such.

Umm.. Her mum is just as crazy though... I met her once. It would only make things worse. And probably dangerous.

How about your father? Her father?

I'm sure there is an adult you can go to to help you out with this.

Why does she think this? Sit your parents down and tell them at the same time. If they start laughing about it, tell them you are serious and you want to be taken seriously. Honestly though, I am surprised by your mom's reaction.

Does this girl go to your school? I guess you could also approach your counselor.

vashhh, it's unfortunate that most parents are not as caring and mentally with it as you are.

this world would be a much more wonderful place if they were.

I don't understand the reationship some people have with their kids.
I guess I try to remain optimistic that parents are on their kid's side.

I guess you could contact one of HER school counselors, then. I really don't know what else to offer. It sucks that your parents aren't stepping up, and I guess with her dad in jail, you can see why she has issues (not that it matters, except for helping you choose more wisely next time).
