For a long time I used to think that birth control stopped the periods too. I didn't know it was used to just control the cramps and make a period more regular.

Actually, nowadays it can. Back when I was on the pill, my doctor wanted me to try this, but it freaked me out.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

It's the GP's philosophy in the UK to put you on the pill when you have hormonal disturbance or irregular periods... it just put me to sleep and felt really bad the whole month.. stay away from the pill, condoms are still there..

Don't you wish they could invent a way to stop the damn bitchy symptom during PMS?

and you wonder why men and women don't try to understand one another. it's because of people like you who try to set up a gender boundary.

Illusional: I was expecting the personal experience of women who have the same problem. Honestly i never expected men to be involved in such a private matter. A large number of them do not involve themselves in these matters.

I have met a colleague in my last week training who is a medical doctor. During breaks, we had a chat about PMS, she told me the adrenaline level might be high and that is one of the reasons that cause severe symptoms of PMS. I also came across this link which validates what she said:
