Wow, Squirrley, that is totally over the top!! $1300 on a fake baby?

I don't think I could go there. If it gets too unbearable, I'll go buy a tiny dog and dress it up in people clothes.

I think once the baby making time comes my partner and I will have three (preferably in one go) - it's insurance policy

We'll suffer for awhile, but that should be enough for the rest of the life

The need or desire to have a child or another child is so damn strong. I bought the doll at the time Kyle had decided to do the army thing. I had my grown up child on his way out of the door. I think having your biological clock tick at an earlier age is the same yet different when you're older and when you've had one. You already know the feeling. I admit my purchuse was extreme. I will take a pic this weekend and post it. It's truly scary how real she looks. She even weighs like a real baby.

I don't play with her you guys. But I did buy a lot of clothes for her and changed her for about a month. The feeling wore off. The best part of her is faking people out. We had taken my hubby's dad out for dinner one night, his brother drove down to go out with us and I had chris holding the baby. In walks his brother and we told him it was a suprise we had adopted. He came over and started to playing and gooing at her, we laughed our assess off. It wasn't until he touched her hand he realized she wasnt real.

Anyway, my feeling comes and goes. It still there though. I think another thing is that I don't feel mentally old and I think I could do it. But reality is different...no more babies for squirrley

Ok I added a few pics of her in the gallery. If I really had money to burn, wait I take that back because it's a fetish I don't want, but there are true collectors out there, I would buy all of this particular artists reborns. She has the most unbelievable talent.

Yes. We ALL have $1300 dolls. :rolling eyes:

Actually, my dog has to wear a sweater in the middle of winter because he only has a single layer of fur, and gets cold. It's embarrassing.

Squirrley, I don't see the pictures in the gallery.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

you're tripping if you don't think the US has a culture mate. It's probably just that you're too immersed in to realise. You guys have gotten rich exporting your culture to the rest of the world.

Hmm, it shows me as having the latest upload of pics and they're in my gallery. I see them. Ok, it was over the top but it was fun. I'm over it. My dogs have sweaters too. They're chihuahua's and in the winter they do get cold. But no other clothes, my hubby stops it.

For those of you not in the know (not you Squirrl), there's an actual name for this. Its called 'Empty Nest Syndrome'. Motherhood is a blessing & a curse.

As for the doll. Shrug. You young ppl prob spend as much on your booze & bar bills each year.

    ($100 every weekend = >$5000 a year)
