Try methyl ethyl ketone...that should do the trick.

I clean my ears with a q-tip everytime I get out of the shower. Never had a problem.
I use a headlamp & usually have a look inside my family's ears about once a year to see if there is any gunk buildup. My son usually has a bit (he doesn't clean his ears regularly) so I get it then. Or if he gets something stuck (like a pencil eraser last year, lol) then I clean it out then.

If you don't mash the ear swab against the side of the ear as you insert it, and don't push it in too far, you can normally clean most of the crud out. Tho some ppl probably make more wax than others. Like everything, there's probably some genetics involved.

I did have to remove a tip of a swab from an in-laws ear once (it came off inside). I just filled the ear canal w/some warm water to swell the cotton & grabbed it with some blunt forceps. No big deal.

I really think I shoved the earwax really far into my ear. Hopefully the physician at the clinic can remove it today.

Not having balanced hearing has really turned me into a grumpy person. I also feel very sleepy.

    I can hear now!

Man, I feel a lot better. All that sucking and blowing and filling my orifices with fluid... it was worth it. It was a bit painful, but I've had much worse.

I don't think I've been able to hear this well for years. That earwax is probably the reason why I failed those hearing tests.

I want to see your beautiful wording, and use of interjections, though

Exactly. I don't cram it in, or push it up against the sides.

I can't believe some people jam it in until they see red?? Ew.
