I enjoyed making a Masamane curry. I made enough for three days. It's bewdiful!

I just learnt this recipe from my flatmate, give this a try Miso, you taste buds will thanks you:

Ingredients:
Half a kilo of Chicken, 3 potatoes, One brown onion, 1 tin of masamane curry paste, 1 tin of coconut milk and rice

1. Wash and quarter the potatoes, drop into the pot with boiling water
2. Put the rice into the rice cooker
3. Use one quarter of the curry paste on chicken and fry it until it's ready.
4. When the chicken is almost ready use another one quarter of the curry paste and fry it for another couple of minutes
5. Turn the flame down, add the whole tin of coconut milk into the frying pan and let it simmer for 5 - 10 minutes on low flame
6. Add the contents of the frying pan into the pot with potatoes when potatoes are ready (add less or more water depending on how mild or spicy you want it to be),
7. Chop and add the onion and let it simmer for another 5 minutes
8. Serve on top of rice while it's still hot

I didn't enjoy anything today...work sucked, I've been working on this thing for the past week and now they want me to go do it all over again because they forgot to tell me something I had to do along with it.

Class was boring as hell as usual.

If you ever want some variety on this, take this recipe & substitute: green thai curry; sweet peppers & a tomatoe for the potatoes, add 2 tblsp brown sugar, 3 tblsp peanut butter, and 2 chopped mangoes, lime leaves & some cilantro. You have thai chicken mango curry. Its a nice variation & also freezes well.

I woke up, had a wank which was disturbed by someone and so i had to finish it off later. Then I came to the forums. Then I cooked some food, which was actually the good part. I boiled some potatoes and warmed up some home made steaks and pot of sauce which my mother made yesterday. now I am going out to collect some herbs. Damn, life is soo interesting.

It was a ridiculously complicated board game. Which really just boiled down to chess with lots of superfluous rules.

I actually have not read any Hornblower, though I hope to remedy that. You recall the Master & Commander movie? I read the series that was based off.

Ya, my son has started to play games like Panzer Leader w/his dad (I watch & clean up the little tiles that went astray after, lol). Those games are such a blast from the past now w/Civ, AoE & all.

I seem to keep recommending books to you (sorry). But yes, I think you really would like the Hornblower books (also the DVDs). The Sharpe series (Bernard Cornwell) is likewise excellent. There are also vids for these, w/Sean Bean, so I don't mind watching those at all. Most decent sized libraries carry the DVDs now.

I enjoyed spending time with my gf. She's sick and I came to look after her, brought her some menthol cream. But she ended up looking after me with massages and stuff. Her mum made us dinner and a cappuccino for me. Her parents go out of their way to make me feel as part of the family. I'm feeling very spoiled.

I finished Stranger in a Strange Land the other day. I can't remember if you suggested that one or not, but it was very good. I haven't read sci-fi in forever.

Oh, and the Total War series of games are really, really good.
