Tomorrow I'm making a big pot of ropa vieja--old clothes stew. The name isn't exactly appetizing, but it's nummy. Flank steak cooked until it's so tender it falls apart. You pull it into strips, then add bell peppers, onions, tomato and olives.

i made some udon soup today. i've been working at learning japanese soups. i tried thai soups and lordie thai food is hard to make.
my udon soup is pretty fabulous.

I got a phone call and this email today from my uni:
Congratulations! You have achieved first place in INFO5992 – Understanding IT Innovations for Semester 1, 2008. In recognition and to celebrate your achievement the School of IT will be holding a certificate presentation ceremony on Tuesday, 12 August 2008. The presentation will be followed by drinks and refreshments.
