feel so hopeless

i feel so hopeless....it took me sooo long to find one girl to be with and she really wrecked my world. i don't know how we met it was very odd...i've always had a very hard time meeting girls...not meeting but getting them to date me. i'm 23 deployed still for another 8 months (which i'll be 24) and home for a year at MOST then i go again and wont get back til i'm 27 then i'll be out of the army....23 and only one girlfriend that treated me badly and destroyed me...and i'm just suppose to wait til i'm 27 to find someone to be with? for love? to enjoy all the small things? no sex? what the ****? i hate this idea...and i know it's how it is going to go...what do i do?

The army kills a lot of relationship potential, not many people can be content with a great distance and long seperation. I guess it's the time to re-evaluate your priorities in life. Is it better to be in the army and develop skills that you need to develop or quit and concentrate on things in life you deem more important? There is always a choice.

i agree with u but....u cant just QUIT the army ya know...my contract isnt up til july 2010 but i will be stop lossed so i'll end up being forced to stay in until 2011 or 2012...

Yeah thats a tough situation. My bro is 21 rite now and is in Iraq for another 14 months. dude the best thing for you right now might be internet romance. get REALLY Good at it. i mean paint a great picture with your profiles, and use the chat to connect to a great girl in your town. I know LOTS of girls who LOVE army guys because they know the quality and character it takes to serve. living here in San Antonio, i see it all the time. so its going to be hard, but you are doing your duty, which gets LOADS OF RESPECT, but you can be social too,jus think outside the box.. good luck and god bless
