I don't know where some of you people are living, but gas prices near here have been dropping.

Also, drilling for oil doesn't have to get in the way of humans to be wrong. I'll consider anyone who says otherwise likely to kill puppies in the near future.

My main Palin objection for the moment is that she doesn't want to give support to teenagers who end up pregnant. People can say what they want about abortion itself, but for someone who's telling girls to keep the babies, taking away the opportunity for a stable life just seems cruel.

I'm totally skipping classes on election day so I can go vote Obama.

As for lowering gas prices even more, if I recall, wasn't it the Republicans currently in office who said no to using what we've got to help out? And doesn't McCain <3 them with all his being?

Gas prices have been dropping here as well. They were $4 about a month and a half ago and are hovering between $3.45-$3.60 now. But I don't care if they drop to $3.00... it's still more than I want to pay.

I remember when people were bitching and moaning when gas rose to $1.50.

Hell, even at the range I mentioned we're still below the national average which is $3.66.

It shows Houston as having the lowest gas prices at $3.45. If you found a station with gas at $3.17, you should fill up every possible tank, can, etc.. you can find.

Eh, I'm a carless college student, what do I use gas for anyway. ('course it also means that the number I gave you was from a small-town station a month ago, haha. Haven't been near one since.)

Btw, gas here has been around $3.85 a gallon. When I went to Michigan, gas prices in western NY were around $3.85 a gallon but $3.60 in western Michigan

I don't mind gas prices as much now that I downgraded my vehicle. I don't have to drive as much and I'm getting about 30 mpg so I'm not as irritated. Before, I drove an SUV that got about 16 mpg. It would cost be about $60 to fill up, though definitely a lot more now.... probably closer to $70 or $75, and I had to fill up at least once per week.
