Bush won the count in Florida. Al Gore requested recounts. Since Bush won Florida, he had the most electoral votes and therefore won even though Al Gore had the popular vote.

It doesn't matter that private companies own the machines that are used at the polling stations. I'm pretty sure that the private companies aren't sitting their late at night after the polls close adding votes or taking away votes so they can get a certain person into office.

I think America needs a big change so the Democratic party is more suitable. I've seen Obama's speech at the DNC...and i thought it was an amazing speech. If I was an American, I would vote for him.
