Chinese medicine is whack. I wouldn't put too much faith in a school of thought that prescribes grinding up little owls and stuffing them in your mouth to help you see better.

chinese medicine is only a very small part of eastern medicine.

I think the theory behind accupuncture is interesting as a method for pain control. If I were in severe pain, I'd try it.
I'd still fill my prescription for the opioids, though.
