Exactly my first thought. There is nothing wrong living a bachelors life till you die, it doesn't determine manhood or success.

Of course, for yourself and not women.

I think they missed the overall point of the article which is that young males are intentionally seeking extended bout of adolescence by avoiding taking responsibility for themselves. Anyone reading some of the (male) responses might have guessed as much without bothering to read the article.

(Wah, wah... it's all the women's fault because they won't date me! And besides, they are fat. wah, wah.)

Anyway, I suppose it's my fault they didn't get the point of the article. I assumed they might actually *read* it. It's not really about getting married and owning a house... it's about partying like a teenager, living at home with mommy, and not taking responsibility for yourselves, and being generally apathetic.

I really don't see what was said that was bad. Though man, you just made me hungry for some reason. Maybe the word stomach did it.

Dude, it's no good being 25 when you don't behave like 25. They may be fooled by your age for a while but you'll eventually lose them and replacing them with other 18-20 year olds won't work as you'll be already 30 by then.

Besides, your wife and your mother will be sworn enemies no matter what, even if they don't show it.

Men search primarily for looks. Women search primarily for an investment. They usually go for older men because there's a presumption that older men are more mature and will know how to take care of them. When you're a young guy and you're in lookout for a longterm relationship you have to show you can be mature as well but it's hard as men only leave adolescence at around 21 (which is my age). Well, playing Xbox in front of them won't help...

You obviously didn't read the original article, so no tummy-rubbing for you.

I have nothing wrong with a guy playing Xbox, by the way. I have an Xbox myself, and most of the time I like to play with the guy. Playing Xbox on the bed can lead to some pretty fun moments. I can pwn him at a fighting game, then he can pwn me under the sheets

I just don't want to be with someone who plays it all day, while I take care of the kids.

Oh? and what does a 25 year old act like? There is a standard how one should? says who and why? Newsweek? Gimmie a break. I can date younger girls because they are more fun and less picky with things that DON"T MATTER.

In other words, too dumb to have any standards, and more likely to say yes simply because you are older than they are...
