I was a 21 year old virgin, only because I had never dated anyone I was seriously into and didn't want to give it up drunkenly at a party. IMO 17 year olds shouldn't be having sex... you're nowhere mentally ready and if you get an STD or end up pregnant, you really can't mentally handle it. Blah blah blah, it's not a big deal and when you find the person you want to share it with, you won't regret it. The term "virgin" is way too looked into.

I'll be honest I'm a bit nervous if I do end up in a serious relationship with someone and I tell them I'm a virgin. I didn't have sex in my last relationship because I didn't feel ready.
