do you ever feel like your parents are the children and you're the parent?

It’s crazy but my parents are always bickering and they always call me…..i mean c’mon I don’t understand….I’m the middle child….is that what makes the difference in who they call? Anyway I’m always making the negotiations between them while they are there stamping their feet or giving each other the finger! Its actually hilarious to watch them bicker…..it’s better than watching tv….I was in Australia for a year and they called me separately many times to tell me that they weren’t speaking to each other…..the brother is the same always calling me to solve problems he has with my parents…..no matter where I am in the world.

I remember one time mom called me to ask me how the remote control to the tv worked?!…..I was in Australia at the time.

Anyway as usual they just now both rang me to say they are never speaking to each other ……here we go again……

well, my parents haven't had a positive conversation in my entire life. they divorced 30 years ago and have hated each other, attempted to avoid all contact, and bitched and yelled everytime they had to be in contact ever since.
baby ya hustle. but me i hustle harder.

My parents divorced over ten years ago, but you wouldn't know that from the way they act. They talk as if they'd just separated yesterday. They're so immature, so terribly selfish, that they absolutely refuse to act civil toward each other even for their daughter's sake.

My mother and stepfather do act like kids. They drink and it has affected my entire life. Its why Im such an angry person inside and it hurts so much. I've had so much drama put on me in a year alone, and when they are drunk, my brother could care less, so Im stuck taking care of them AND my daughter. It sucks just thinking about it, so I'll end it here

My parents mostly fight about how much money they need or make, it never ends.

Then they'll bring in examples of other family members, and it gets even more out of hand.
