What's the best meal you've ever had?

I just had the best tasting beef mmmmmmm yummy, so tender, juicy, gorgeous…it tasted even better coz I haven’t eaten a decent meal lately so it really hit the spot.

Dunno if I can say it’s the best meal I’ve ever had though, Christmas one year mom decided to experiment and get a goose, she didn’t know how to cook it though…..she didn’t put it in the oven early enough so it was about 7pm that eve before we sat down to eat….but by golly was that the best meal I’ve ever had, goose was soooo tasty….never had it since but its something I’ll never forget.

The best meal is whatever's on your plate after a long day at work and no lunch break.

I can't name one, since I have plenty.

Any type of soup is up there.
Potato Pancakes, Cabbage Rolls, Perogis, etc.

My Grandma's homemade perogies, slathered with butter and onions and sour cream.

Just the thought of it makes my mouth water.

I've never had good pierogi, just the crap from the frozen food aisle. Mmm. I bet real ones taste great. I think maybe I'll pick up a recipe online and try my hand.

My Thanksgiving dinner last year was pretty awesome, but I don't know that I could label ANY meal as the best I ever had. I'm a pretty good cook, and so are my sisters, so our holiday meals are always amazing. Generally, if I want a really good meal, I cook it myself because then I can have it exactly as I like it.

The good meals for me, are the ones where I try new food and turn out liking it. It's fun to face your fears every now and then.

But the best meal I ever had, Filet Mignon with cooked rice, prepared at a downtown Chinese restaurant in an east-side alley back in Toledo. I don't even like rice usually.
