Jeez, what a creepy 7 year old. I feel sorry for his parents... the boy is probably a future serial killer.

No one said it was, not even the article. Just because they mention the cost to them doesn't make the story center around it. They spent more time talking about how they can't prosecute the boy but will try his parents instead, and they spent more time talking about other things

Anyways feeding an animal to a crocodile is more normal than smashing a lizzards head with a rock

I agree. I was more disgusted that the kid could physically bludgeon an animal to death. It's horrible.

wheretf were the parents who are responsible for the child? i agree with the law that children should not be held accountable under the age of 10. This child is messed up because of the parents. where were they?? a 7yr old should not be able to wander around on their own it was before the zoo hours. The parents need to be held responsible. chances are this child is already fcuked up for life coz of crappy parents.

fact is the feeding the animals to the croc is not that shocking since we've all seen crocs being fed, the child was playing a game, the game he saw adults play. Thats what kids do, mimic adults

I think this little monster needs to go through some serious therapy and parents heavily fined.

I wonder where were the zoo keepers and the security who were supposed to be monitoring the cameras.

I don't think that zoos are exactly priority targets for burglars.

well you could almost say the same for art galleries, it depends on the burglars taste, some of the animals would be rare and worth a lot of money.

The zoos in Oz are weird. They let wild animals (like huge bears) lick porridge off the hands of little kids.

Porridge with just a hint of human flavoring. How lovely.

One day the zoo owners are going to open the gate in the morning and find a well fed Croc with what looks like a boy inside it.

it happens, some kids are crazy, altho some kids have crappy parents that don't teach them right from wrong and they end up doing things like this, it could be an over exaggeration by the media. i mean they said the kid had a blank face, who knows...maybe they want to make out he's a potential serial killer. The media have a tendancy to blow things up to something it wasn't. But what is true is that the parents were not looking after their 7 yr old child that early in the morning. they need to be fined indeed, but quite possibly checked out themselves for any kind of abuse or neglect.

The only sad part about that would be they would put the croc down.
