    what's the next step?

i have known by current boyfriend almost four years. In high school we dated for two years but then we broke up for two years. We recently just got back together and i was wondering how to get our connection back because we are now to different people from how we were in high school. On top of that we are in a long distance relationship because i'm away at college. how does things get rekindled?

I don't think that you'll ever get exactly what you had before. As you say, you are different people now living different lives.

You'll have a new and somewhat different and perhaps much better and stronger relationship now.

My advice to you would be:
Believe in your relationship, that it will grow into something nice.
While believing don't set your expectations too high.
Take it as you go and make the of what you got and it will work out just fine!

Everyone will change. Just let what your relationship have right now. You cant bring back what you have before.

While believing don't set your expectations too high.
I agree with it. Too much expectations will hurt you sooner or later.

Be contented of what your relationship have right now.
