What's the last movie you watched?

    Hi all,

How about we have a mini review thread on the last movie you watched.

if you don't want to go into detail maybe you could give just a rating out of 10.

The last movie I saw (unfortunately) was the highly embarrassing Australia by Baz Luhrmann. It was so cheesy with this enforced jocularity which I found really annoying. Nicole Kidman is vapid and can't act her way out of a paper bag.The only redeeming feature was a topless Hugh Jackman.

My rating 4 out of 10.

Donnie Darko. I would have loved it had I seen it while I was in high school. Now, though, it was just weird. Not bad, though.

I saw Into the Wild before that. Loved it. I want to do something outrageous like that. Just travel cross-country without a dime in my pocket. Kayak from California to Mexico. Gawd. That would be a blast. I think I'd skip the Alaskan adventure, though.
God, so atrocious in the Old Testament, so attractive in the New--the Jekyl and Hyde of sacred romance.

Last movie I saw was Death Race, it starred John Statham and is absolutely insane! I loved it, anyone into action movies or a John Statham fan definately has to see it! 9/10

I completely forgot about this movie, but it sounds good. Thanks for the suggestion.

I tend to catch movies on the plane. Last one was Made of Honor (I think). Some guy in love with his female friend who is getting married to some scottish laird and he's the best man. Predictable, but made the time pass. 3/10

I also saw Kung Fu Panda & the latest Narnia flick. I think Iron Man also. It was a long flight.

Ok I must admit that I saw Death Race and while it was not going to win any oscars at any time I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was just some good smash em up fun..predictable but entertaining.

As for Into the Wild..I liked it. It was very slow paced which I found a little frustrating. I did think the main character who was supposed to be this inspirational bloke came off a little selfish and completely ill prepared for what he embarked upon. Other than that it was an interesting flick.

Strangers with Liv Taylor. Scared the living hell out of me and to the point my husband won't watch another scary movie with me. 10 for sure! Apparently is "loosely based on Charles Manson."
everything happens for a reason...beginning to wonder why.
