Housemates weren't too happy about my girl sleeping over (we kept pretty quiet, so maybe they didn't hear what actually happened, but still) and her place has a similar problem, so trying to think of any other options.

I wouldn't care if my roommate had a girl over. Because I would get a little pissed if they got mad about my girl coming over.I don't chase, I replace.

Two chinese girls who are students at uni as well, if they were guys I think they'd be accepting of it. Not sure why though, think they're mainly worried over having to stand hearing loud moaning and thumping throughout the apartment. Or just knowing what's going on in the next room. Bah.

Anyone ever hear of a close hanger on the front door? Sheesh... I had a female roommate... and if she saw the close hanger, she knew to come back in a hour and vice versa.
People are going to want sex... and if they can make it happen... they WILL HAVE sex. If you don't want to hear it... then take an hour (or two in some cases) long 'break' and reflect on life or something. Sheesh... it's common courtesy... eventually it'll be your turn to send them out on 'break' too.

Fortunately they're not your average shy and mind-your-own-business chinese girls, actually pretty fun to hang out with.
But yah, technically they only said that they didnt want her to sleep over (as in sleep, not beyond that), so might as well do it during the daytime (or make sure to hop on the last tram rather than staying overnight) and to hell with what they think.

In a way, I don't blame them for not wanting others to sleep over. Sometimes, an occassional sleep-over turns into a nightly sleepover with no paying of rent. Maybe that is what they are really worried about? Besides, we all know girls can be pretty difficult to get along with. Even though you are enjoying this girl now, there may come a time when you will be happy to have this rule in place.
