People usually date, fall in love with, and marry others that are similar in intellect, and sheer physical beauty as themselves..

First of all the beauty is in the eye of the beholder and it's true that "what YOU may seem as physically unattractive another person will see as physically attractive". So I completely agree with others, the idea that you can somehow determine physical compatibility of two people just by looking at them is ridiculous. Without understanding the "definition of physical beauty" in the mind of another person your are shooting blindly into the sky instead of at the targets with your opinions.

you have to wonder if the girl isn't in the least-bit interested in a guy then would she really waste her time spending with him? I mean, unless the guy's a doormat and he feeds her ego then perhaps that's the only exception.

I am sure it's the same for others but i find that often the more you get to know a person the more attractive they become (they are the ones you usually end up liking a lot).

I agree... I can see the differences in the people I've dated over the years... it's progressive and reflects what I was looking for/attracted to at the time...

Yeah, you just find them more comfortable over time... desire them more for it...
