if i ever need any serious advice i usually would go to the following people for it in that particular order: Misha, Eco, Indi, Vashti.

everyone else is a joke, no offense. I mean their opinions are purely for entertainment purposes.

If someone is giving advice, then there's nothing slapstick about it. If they're joking or bein' a cock, that means they're not event attempting to give legitimate advice. Make sense?

In other words, amongst the regulars and semi-regulars, you won't find "empty" advice so long as the original poster is legitimate. A middle aged Indian man crying because his 15 year old Texas on-line girlfriend's mother doesn't like him, is one that will receive ridicule.

The problem I can see, is that many of us, have been doing this for so long, we pick and choose our threads carefully.

I'm pretty new here, but I'd have to agree that a fair bit of the time instead of answering questions people just try to be funny.

Well people are not paid for answering questions here, this is not a paid job surely sometimes their needs for fun should also be taken into account. I'm sure there are plenty of other forums out there that can cater for extra requirements. Maybe some paid ones. Why not frequent them?

I'm sure LF is not perfect and has problems (name one thing in the world that doesn't), but it has some very distinct advantages (e.g. amount of posters / regulars, free advise, speed with which advise is given) and if these advantages are not sufficient for some people then go somewhere else. Look for something that caters to your specific needs. And if you really want to improve LF post some constructive criticism and ways how problems can be resolved. Don't do a troll thing like Everlovin attacking everyone thinking that's your bit for humanity for the year.

the last time that i checked, the forums didn't have an aducation requirement.

however, it's the closed minded thinking that gets people mad. sure everyone comes online to ask question, bitch, and act silly.. but this is a "public" forum where everything and anything goes.
