Thread: i really hate

    i really hate

    breaking out from stress. I rarely have acne but tend to get little bumps when i get stressed out. How can i get rid of them, besides not stressing?

    I personally use Proactiv. It works very well for me. It was one of the very few things that I was suckered into buying from television, and I dont regret it. I havent used it in a while and my face is still a lot more clear than it used to be before i used it.

    i've thought about that, but it's not bad enough that i would spend 40 dollars on it since i probably would only use it a couple times. Maybe i could order that refining mask stuff that's suppose to make it go away over night.
    Or drink loads of water and pee 15 times a day....that doesn't sound so appealing though

    From the time I started it till now, acne is much more controlled than any other product I have used before.
    In the shower every now and then I'll exfoliate and also use this:

    It helps a lot.

    And if I've got a very stubborn one that is rather large and is taking too long to go away. I use this just before going to bed:

    I used to have a lot of acne too. My way to deal was first start doing exercise and changing my eating habits. 1 month after my face started to get clean itself. Most of acne is the cause of to much fat ingesting and bad eating habits. IF you start to cut that off and eat more veggies and fruits, trust me, you will see results in less that a month. Even more if you combine a good routine of exercise to your life. 4 times a week. Just 30 minutes workout to start. That is nothing. IT's only 2 hours per week that you are investing on yourself. Moreover, you will feel energized and whole lot better. Even stress would go away

    Drink lots of water, put Neosporin on blemishes when you go to bed and for God's sake, don't touch them. Your fingertips are oily and dirty most of the time.

    It's so frustrating for me to sit next to a certain co-worker of mine and watch her pick at her face while she complains about her skin. Her poor face doesn't have a chance with her messing with it like that.

    I drink LOTS of water, avoid touching my face when I can. I also scrub my face multiple times a day when its hot because my face is very oily and I sweat A LOT.

    I use a prescription strength face wash that is 4% peroxide or some shit. You can get a prescription from a dermatologist without much trouble if you care to go that route.

    The key is to keep your face DRY, it tightens your skin up and causes it to excrete whatever is in it.

    Drink ALOT of water, use a cleanser at night followed by a moisturiser depending on your skin type. You say they are little bumps? If you have alot of dairy products it could even be calcium spots, I've had that a few times and had to cut back on dairy.

    As for proactive, it's actually said to have bad long term effects on your skin, I had an article, I'll finding it again.

    But unfortunately if it's just stress there isn't a real lot you can do, it's just due to an imbalance of hormones that are causing it. Try relaxing yourself!

    I use Arbonne facewash. I've been using it for about 5 years now and it's the only thing that keeps my skin clear. (Granted, I'm lucky to only have had mild acne in high school.) My sisters both had terrible acne and I think they also like it.
