but i already explained, male friends that i have known for at least 10years. everything is too connected at this point, i do their accounting, income taxes, give them job sources, and they in turn help me with whatever help i need in life.

Whatever. Just because I don't rip an 18 year old a new one must mean I am acting "motherly"?

No one said anything I didn't say pages ago, when I told her she shouldn't expect the guy to pay if he didn't invite her. For some people, 18 is still rather new to the dating experience, and should be allowed a bit of a learning curve.

And really, I don't see why everyone is so passionate about bringing her down over a $12 dinner.

I said generally, Dig. If you choose to assume a general garment is tailor made for you, that is your concern. However, there are an AWFUL lot of posters on this board.

BTW, I edited the offending post, just for expediency. Any remaining issues are the sole concern of the individual and whatever they may or may not be grappling with.
