Something I particularly dislike

is the attitude towards some foreign cultures. And when I say foreign cultures, I mean this to literally the VERY NEAR EXCLUSION of Western culture

It's not even neutral, it's positive and forceful upon others of my own American culture to the point of gagging. I don't want to hear some shit Indian music when I go to the dining hall. The campus is less than 2 hours from my home, and last time I checked, which was relatively recently, Rochester was German, Italian, and Black, and we had our own fuccking tastes that we decided

I also have particular beef when foreigners put down the American south, like during a review session last year when a TA with a southern accent is trash talked by some dyke with an accent who things a southern accent is a sign of slowness. Some of my Long Islands friends also have this problem, but hearing shit from a foreigner makes me want to boot them back to their shithole caste system

Looks like everyone completely missed the point and has trouble distinguishing between 1) another culture being gleefully imposed upon you (something that would never be reciprocated in their country, and why should it be?) and 2) a completely arbitrary set of rules for superiority
