    Mardi Gras (Fras's Neighborhood Photos)

This is pre-parade in my neighborhood.

Cool wake up in the morning and see a parade in front of your house.

Reminder, these are all the family friendly events, which the majority of them are. The adult themed parade already happened a week ago in the French quarter.

Bourbon and frenchmen street in the central business district will of course be very lively this entire week.

You win! I TOTALLY want to visit New Orleans, especially at Mardi Gras!
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

I'm going to post the pictures of that same parade (but during the event) later. I have so many photos I have to sort through them.

It's going to be a fun week. I'll try to keep this thread updated.

No, that's not St. Charles, it's a side street which I will leave undisclosed.

And many of the side streets do not look like that. In fact many of the side streets are small and riddles with potholes.

Sorry, not trying to invade your privacy I know someone who lives on St. Charles and I've seen pictures and it looked very familiar so I was just wondering. It's so distinctive looking compared to other cities, but then I thought maybe that's just what streets in NOLA all look like.
