Whenever I thought about her,
I saw my wife, my kids, my family.
I tried my best to befriend her,
ignoring the harsh truth of reality.

I was in my own world of fairy tales,
where we marry, love and kiss.
But reality caught up with me,
and my heart broke like a vase.

I thought I was way too young
to know what true love really is,
Until I bawled my guts out
after another man offered her flowers.

She knew I felt for her,
but not how much I loved her.
I want to tell her so badly,
but teenagers are too young to love.

Now I would let time heal me,
and pray to god some more.
I don't know if I'll love again,
as my heart is just a core.

But that's life people.
It's a gift and a curse.
All I know is that I'll never forget her,
and that I've experienced the worst.
