yo necessito
tu necesitas
el necesita
ellos necesitan
nosotros necesitamos


i like is another lesson. i have to do something now but i'll come back to that.

if you're saying you like something, you say me gusta ___________.

now if you're saying you like more than one thing (plural) you say me gustan ________.

to say "i like you" is me gustas tu.

all those things go before a verb if you're relating them to someone or something else.

for example to say i need you you would say te necesito.

te- you
me- me
le- him/her
les- them
nos- us

we need them= les necesitamos.
they need us = nos necesitan
you need me= me necesitas

okay that's all a bit advanced...

forget all of that.

let's keep working on verbs.

we did -ar verbs, we did -er and -ir verbs.

let's move on to irregular verbs.

there are some verbs where taking out the ar or er and adding on the appropriate ending doesn't work. with these verbs the word structure changes altogether.

here's some common verbs that are irregular...

ir- to go
tener- to have
venir- to come

i'll conjugate them, you memorize them...

ir- to go

yo voy- i go
tu vas- you go
el/ella va- he/she goes
nosotros vamos- we go
ellos/ellas/ustedes van- they/ you guys go

tener- to have

yo tengo- i have
tu tienes- you have
el/ella tiene- he/she has
nosotros tenemos- we have
ellos tienen- they/you guys have

venir- to come

yo vengo- i come
tu vienes- you come
el viene- he comes
nosotros venemos- we come
ellos vienen- they come
