    6 Months After quitting cigarettes

So i quit smoking about 6 months ago and i went through all the crazy dreams, i was on the patch for about a week until i just said **** it and quit nicotine all together. for a long time cigarettes werent on my 'radar' then about 3 months after quitting i got strong urges again but i sustained my will, and now at 6 months theyre back on my 'radar' and sometimes when i walk over a half smoked cigarette just for a mili second the feeling is there to pick it up and smoke it, or my mind torments me with the feeling of a freshly lit cigarette in the morning .... any other ex-smokers out there? any advice or just similar testimonials would be cool

I probobly quit smoking first when I get pregnant.
For example my brother's wife had this luck to naturally quit smoking when she got pregnant. She just felt disgustet when she tried to smoke. So she stopped.
But I know it's not always like that.Sometimes this feeling just don't come.
I know it's unhealthy especially during pregnancy, for the baby, but I've heard when a woman is smoking and she gets pregnant she shouldn't quit smoking at one time. She should just smoke less and less.
Tho my mum smoked during the pregnancy with me,but I'm healthy and alive

But it's like alcoholism. You will alway be a smoker. It can come back even after 15 or more years.

I've never heard a doctor suggest this. I have only heard them recommend cutting down if you won't quit. Smoking is very bad for babies.

I did. They say it's better for babies to get them used to it,as they are partially smokers too.
It's like when a mother is a junky, she also can't quit drugs promptly, cause the baby would have withdrawal syndrome which is very dangerous for them.Of course cigarettes aren't THAT dangerous but still, I think those doctors have some right...

Just don't do panic.Don't think it's something You need, think it's something You want.Actually stop to think about it. And do something. I smoke when I'm bored.Don't do a big deal of it and it will be ok.

    Bon Courage!
